Hi once again !!!

so i understood, that it won't be possible to rent a car ( i am U21), so my next question is, bike or quad bike ??? in my opinion quad bike is for fun only, in mountains etc. But i want to visit as much beauty places as it would be possible. The only advantage of quad bike is that it has 4 wheels =D it must be safely, than scooter. if someone has an expirience in this question, please reply. thanks !

You will still need a full driving licence to hire a scooter.   Larger bikes require a motorcycle licence......and by law you have to wear a helmet.

Quad bikes were never meant for normal road use, so are not as safe as they look.. so be careful.

Just be very careful if you get a quad bike. I booked some customers last year who hired a quad bike and was knocked off it by an on coming car. The woman who was 35yrs(so not some young person messing about) was in a really bad way, she'd bit off her tongue her lips were almost gone,in a coma etc. I dont mean to put you off but highlighting how dangerous things can be, she was left for dead in a ditch, luckily a passing car came across her, this was in crete(malia) and not corfu by the way.

Hi Tubelskis,

Some car companies may allow you to hire a car if you take extra insurance or leave a credit card as deposit. It is worth asking around.

If you don't know what you are doing, scooters are the most dangerous form of transport on earth!!!! I picked a young German lad out of a ditch once with a broken leg sticking out of the skin. Even the Greeks have terrible accidents often resulting in death.

Sorry about the lecture, but to anyone thinking of hiring any form of transport, please be very careful.

(j4973, enjoy your birthday!!!)

I hate the quad bikes, sorry I do.

They always seem to be driven by chavs with England shirts on and no road sense as well, who find it funny to shout insults at you as they drive past.

Get a push bike, far more eco friendly!
