Hi Hodgins,  The people on the plane next 2 us stayed at the hotel you r going 2 and although they did not mention the beach they raved all the way home about how wonderful there holiday had been and how fantastic the accommodation was. we have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Barbati. This has a stony beach. I would thoroughly recommend taking jelly shoes or flip flops for you and your children just in case, as it can be quite painful underfoot.

Hi Hodgins.

Glad to hear your dreams have been answered. I hope you all have a great holiday, and your son enjoys the beach. Dont forget the bucket and spade.

Best Wishes and Happy Holidays.

hi hodgins

we have experienced most types of beach on the north and east coast and wether it be sandy shingle or pebbles i am sure you will have the best holiday when we visited a stoney bweacg my children still built a castle but just one built of stone when you are having such a fab time whether the beach sandy or stone you just get on with it that is what i found but i have to say i had the same worries before as you do but when you are there it seems all yhe things you worry about before you go pale into insignificance. i still worry about things now even though i know when i get there sidari corfu is such a wonderful place i will wonder what i made a fuss about. have a great time as will we as we are there friday.

Just got back from a great holiday in San Stephanos and there is a beautiful long sandy beach at Kalamaki which is not far from Kassiopi. You can build as many sandcastles as you like there.
