How hot is it in late August.

I have been to Corfu in August and the last two weeks in July and have to say it has always been SCORCHIO!!!! Up in the 40's!

We were in Acharavi (just up the coast a bit!) last July, after initial thunder storm it was certainly HOT!! I've been to Corfu in August too, although many years ago . . . .ummm again it was HOT!

hey it doesn't have to be a problem, take it easy, drink loads (water!), slap on the suncream, retire to the shade for a nice lunch during the hottest hours, keep going for a dip. wear a hat!

and if it rains . . . .so what it will COOL you down!

Can only echo,what has already been said. We were out in Gouvia last August. We flew out the 23rd,and it was HOT...HOT...HOT!!

July and August are the hottest two months of the summer. But having said that there is usually a nice breeze near the sea, especially in Roda.
