Are there any direct flights from the UK to Corfu in April.

I am coming to look at properties which may need little renovation work or maybe even a plot

I looked at flights for you in April but like baywatcher said your going to have to wait until May if you want to go direct.

If you really need to go to Corfu in April then your going to have to make 2 stops, otherwise wait until May.

Hope this helps

Don't forget LTU from Dusseldorf. It's a great way of getting to Corfu in the winter. You can get cheap connections from UK. Eg. www.jet2.com from Leeds, also www.ba.com You only have to do 2  flights to get there too. You may have to nightstop to catch the early flight but hotels are reasonable in Dusseldorf. I will always use this route in the winter.

Which way is best for you when there are no direct flights depends on how much time you have to spare and where abouts in UK you are travelling from.  Also, another consideration is the time spent at the different airports.  You basically have 3 main choices: via Athens (Olympic or easyjet + olympic or aegean air), via Dusseldorf (Air Berlin / various other low cost carriers + LTU), or via Italy (Ryanair or Easyjet + ferry).  Most options (other than via Athens) mean you need a night somewhere else.

Good luck,

Carolena

British Airways commences a direct service from Gatwick on Wednesday 2 May and will operate through the summer, as far as I know, 4 times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Monday dep LGW 1720 arr CFU 2220 dep CFU 2320 arr LGW 0040

Wednesday dep LGW 0920 arr CFU 1425 dep CFU 1520 arr LGW 1640

Friday dep LGW 0825 arr CFU 1335 dep CFU 1435 arr LGW 1600

Saturday dep LGW 1300 arr CFU 1810 dep CFU 1905 arr LGW 2025

Cheapest place to book these flights is on http://www.ba.com as they have a lowest price guarantee. You can usually connect to LGW from most airports in the UK. We're flying on 2 May from Glasgow and back again on 11 May.

PS We're staying in Vatos again at Villa Myrto - find us most evenings in the village at Taverna 97!

Most charter flights start beginning of May. Although British Airways will start flying to Corfu the flights will only be from Gatwick.
