I want to say a big thankyou to this excellent website and all who have helped me with my questions with there thoughts and views of corfu. I feel like i know the country before i have even got there!! and i can not wait to get there and i have a feeling i will be back there next year - 15 days to go and counting!!!!! thanks again to everyone xxx

Hi Hodgins,

I know all will go well for you on holiday and I'm sure you will leave the island with many happy memories.

For information on where to go and what to do the best source I have found are the Greek Cafe owners, bar Staff and waiters, they will also be able to tell you where the best deals are.

Just one other point, after you visit visited a resturant in Corfu for the fisrt time you are treated like an honoured guest, the second time you return as a friend.

I intend to enjoy every minute !!!!!!!! ive even got my mum and dad interested in going next yr with us if we return. They holiday in italy on the Amalfi coast they are currently there now staying in Sorrento. Thanks for your reply's and yes Sailor i will tell u all about it when i get back IF i come back!!!!! as me and my family do intend to move abroad in about 9 or 10 yrs u never know i may be looking for a nice villa soon !!!

Newbie to the site and I just found Corfu last year (What took me so long!!!) Counting the days to the beginning of August when we are visiting again. Ditto Falcons comments on the local bar and taberna staff. Have a great time................
