We went out on Monday the 4th.Sept. and returned this Monday the 25th.
Outwardbound I made sure I didn't break any rules and took only one piece of hand luggage between us measuring 32x28x14 containing only travel documents, one camera and one book.
Homeward bound on Monday this week size didn't seem to matter within reason. We were given a bottle of olive oil in a plastic bottle and didn't want to put it in our main luggage so took a chance and put it in our hand luggage along with bottles of water. It went through the scanner without question.
