Hi there, has anyone been to corfu recently and flown from manchester on the 1.30pm flight. We're off next week and i have watching the times of the flight and it appears to be running 3 1/2 hours late every week.  Does anyone know why this be.  Also if you know that your flight is going to be late do you have to check in at the appointed time. ot can you leave it a bit later. Thanks eveyone

Hi

I would strongly suggst checking in at the appointed time.   All you need is a little application of Murphy's Law to discover that your flight will be the one occasion that it departs on time!

Well i've been looking at the manchester airport timetable and the 13.25 STILL hasn't left yet and not due to go till 17.55 so its past that.  You'd be well fed up being at the airport for over 5 hours, just hope and pray its ok next week. Don't know why its delayed as the other flights to corfu are all on time, strange!!

Just got back from Corfu on Friday.  Fortunately, our flight to Cardiff was on time (and usually is) but there were a lot of poor folks stuck in the airport waiting for the Manchester flight which, at the last announcement we heard, would be over 4 hours late!  Not sure why there was a delay but felt really sorry for all of them waiting there.

Good luck to anyone travelling to/from Manchester which does seem to haved this problem a lot!

Thanks, it's Mich with my brother in Nikolas Taverna.

Obviously, our feet haven't touched the ground since we returned but are really looking forward to returning as soon as we can and it would be nice to meet up.

Can anyone advise whether it would be cheaper to book for a return flight (we are hoping to go for either 21 or 28 days) or do two one-way flights? Hopefully with no long delays (tenuous link to the thread, trying not to stray too far!) Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hellen

One way flights home, near the end of the season can sometimes be expensive as the one way seats are taken up by resort workers and reps heading back to the UK.

Just something to keep in mind when you're pricing....
