We are thinking of booking an extra trip to Corfu (Kaminaki hopefully) at the end of september or early october, we want to bring some friends who do not like the heat, what is the weather like then, are the taverna and shops open etc. On the subject, when is the end of the season in Corfu??

The end of season is towards the middle to end of October. The weather can be glorious in September/October but without the intensity of the heat of August. However it can rain in September/October, but having said that I think September is a lovely month to go as it is also a little quieter.

Thanks for the info, we came back from Corfu 2 weeks ago and we had 14 days of fantastic weather, which we were still there.

we went last year in mid october and it was sunny but a bit changeable during the day but still got a tan and cool and windy at night(i needed a warm jacket)

we like to stay in corfu town for a couple of nights and then if the weather is bad theres loads to do

everything was closing in the resort when we went and thats why we're trying september for 10 days

just got back yesterday and missing corfu already!!

I was there last year last week of Sept/First week of October last week of Sept was glorious first week of Octobger it just rained and rained!!

Was also there the Sept before and the weather was great again so think its just luck of the draw!!

We took my parents out in September for the first time last year. We had a couple of days on and off of rain and thunderstorms,but on the whole,the weather was fantastic. Not too hot,as my mum suffers with the heat. And I managed to keep on top of my tan,from being out there in the June.
