After years of Mike "just borrowing a bit" of my moisturiser, I've finally managed to persuade him to buy his own.

Now, if only I could persuade him that waxing isn't as painful as it looks. I'm sure he'd find it a lot cooler on holiday without his permanent woolly vest and I have offered to do it for him

Well Elaine

I find that putting mascara on in a very dim lit room is of great help, but for the love of me I cant see as to why we have to powder, thinking back the last time I was powdered was when I was 6 months old.

Other make up tips can be read about in my article in Vogue erm or was it woman's weekly?

As for waxing that's for tables and furniture !!!!!!

Has anyone travelled with MyTravel this year? I am now totally confused about where to pack any electical items as the tickets state HOLD luggage but the MyTravel website says HAND luggage!

I don't want to pack them in the suitcases only to have to open them at the airport - any help would be appreciated?

Sue, we have just come back today having flown with MyTravel, it said on our information that all electrical equipment should be in your hand luggage but we put ours in both our cases and hand luggage and there was no query.

Had no problems whatsoever at Newcastle Airport the check in staff were very laid back but if you read my report on excess baggage they told us we were 10 kilos over at Corfu airport as they weighed both cases and hand luggage and we had to hand over 90 euros before they would give us our boarding cards!

Alot of whether you get charged excess or not is down to the handling agents at the airport and NOT always the specific airline!!

Aviance do not yet work on a commission basis, but at some airports Servisair get commission for any excess charges they make.
