Hi Ray.

I have been doing some searching on this, but cannot seem to find any details of trips or short stay visits to Sivota. There are services to Igoumenitsa, then onto Parga. There are excursions to Parga from Corfu, but I do not think you will have enough time to visit Sivota.

Sivota is well covered, and looks a very nice resort, so I would imagine there is some way of getting over there for a short visit, even if it is via Parga.

If I find anything, I will let you know.

Yeiamas, Chris.

Hi Ray

Sivota/Mourtos is a little further south than you suggest; it is actually opposite Kavos. Although there is a ferry ramp in the bay, I'm not too sure that ferries run in there on a regular basis - certainly nothing from Corfu town. You might find something running across from Kavos/Lefkimi (such as a day trip) on the south of Corfu or, perhaps from Igoumenitsa. I did't see anything when I was there a couple of weeks ago (by yacht)

As an alternative, you could take a hire car (get permission from the hire company though) across to Igoumenitsa and then drive down - it takes less than an hour and is quite an easy drive - I'll give you directions if you need them. (When we take the car down to Corfu from the UK, we usually pop down to Moutos for dinner, whislt waiting for the fery back to Ancona.)

It really is a super spot and is extremely pretty - but do stay for the evening and catch the sunset over Corfu.

By the way, I recommend Georgeos Family restaurant on the harbour front for really good food, should you get there

Martyn
