What are the local drinks in Corfu? My wife found one last year but have forgotten what it was called.

Hi Peter, Stay well clear of Tsipouro... You should only be able to get that drink on a Doctors Prescription by law..you have to drink it before the shot glass melts..

It is the only drink that makes me want to be Tea-total. It's a horrriblr drink and I don't really understand who whould want it.

I think that must be the one I was given as a freebee at one taverna at the end of a meal - it was like paintstripper - I didn't know the name and tried to describe it to our rep who was very puzzled as to what it was - it was vile!!!
