Hi all!

I'm an Aussie off to Corfu with a mate tonight from Malta for a week. I know what you're thinking, probably not exactly the best time of year to be island-hopping, but hey, you gotta be a bit adventurous in life ey? LOL

Anyhoo, if any of you have any tips on the must-sees of Corfu - especially nightlife and dining - or want to meet up with us and knock back a few drinks while we're there, let me know

Cheers,

RockChic

Not a lot will be open in the tourist areas - Corfu Town is your best bet - evening drinks on the roof terrace of the Cavilieri Hotel should not to be missed.

Have a great time.  There should be plenty open in Corfu Town and also in Arachavi on the north coast.

Thanks for your posts guys!

Corfu is beautiful! Would love to have been there during Summertime though.

Driving through it was quite an experience ... its similarity to Maltese driving is uncanny! LOL

Cheers!

Crikey, we got back last night and are still thawing out.

The indirect flights at this time of year are not much fun. We got to the airport at 6.30 checked in, got the flight at 7.30 to Athens then hung around (sleeping on benches) till 1.30 for the flight to LHR. We'd planned to see the Acropolis but the train times wouldnt work out.

Still Corfu is a beautiful place even at its worst and even though most of the north west was closed we managed to get around and get fed rather well.

Best of all we have found a couple of plots that work for us!!!
