Does anyone know if there are any Saturday flights from London (Gatwick or Stansted) to Corfu.

A friend has booked a villa-only stay for one week from 6 May but the nearest flights she has found are for Friday 5th which would mean staying elsewhere for the first night and then leaving the villa a day early to get the return flight on the 12th.

Hi Stuart ,

If it's any help ....I'm coming back from Corfu via Athens on an Olympic flight on Saturday 18th Feb....09:20 from Athens getting into Heathrow 11:20 UK time .

I would presume it turns around and goes back ?? Maybe worth looking on their website ?

Hi Stuart,

Though Olympic is an option via Athens, as they fly every day. I have had a quick look at various web sites and not found Sat. flights. However it might be worth looking at a late night flight on the Fri. getting your friend into Corfu early hours of Sat. morning. The returns usually work the same back. Thomson used to fly on an Sat but their site says no flights available. This however could change nesrer the start of the season.

Thanks all

That was the sort of thing I had got as well - I just hoped that I had missed something.

They could get an Olympic flight leaving Heathrow at 12:20 and change at Athens to arrive in Corfu at 20:35. On the way back they would leave Corfu at 07:10, change again at Athens and get back to Heathrow at 11:20. This would be �650 (for both). I'll let them know.

Otherwise, they might have to look at other possibilities, like changing at Dusseldorf etc.

The Olympic flight was the one I was on about ....

My out bound leg however is from M'chester and is only costing � 281 return...Booked thro Gem travel [ sponsored by Agni ]

Check out EasyJet, they do flights into Athens on both Friday and Saturdays, then either look at internal flights or try a ferry. Lots of web sites with ferry times.

Depending on what they really want to do I used to regularly stay at one end or the other of my holidays in Corfu town. Especially when they kicked you out of the apt 12 hours before a flight!

The Konstantinopoulos is a nice and cheap place right on the waterfront and a very short trip to the airport. It means you can have a nice evening in town.

It also has a very nice renovated interior and hot baths.
