i have a halifax visa electron and am going to corfu next week, does anyone know if i can use this over there i asked in the bank and they should probably (cheers great help)

if i can use it can i withdraw money from the bank

There have been previous topics on this subject, and the general view is that they can be used in Corfu. Many have said they have used their Visa Electron cards on the island. It appears as long as it Visa, the card is OK.

You can do a search using the icon above to find previous threads on this subject by typing in Visa Electron.

Hi just a foot note..I've have the same card and for each transaction Halifax change �1.50 which is cheap compared to someother banks. Debz

hi! came back from Roda 8th August, used my visa electron at both cash points no problem, but don't forget about your daily withdrawal limit in the UK
