Hi
Thinking of booking Stansted - Corfu with Ryan Air... Does anyone know if it's worth taking the priority boarding option? How does this work at Corfu airpor!!!

Not done Ryanair.
Last time at Corfu on Easy Jet, at least Speedy only! Got on the first bus. Gives you a chance!
Its when you walk or multi load on the bus.
Makes the whole thing rather pointless. Your either first on the bus (last off) or you have to walk extemely FAST or RUN, to hold your place as SPEEDY BOARDER. Put your pumps on (an early style of trainer) and GO FOR IT.
Whatever you do retain your sense of humour. Its all part f the holiday!!!!.
HAVE A GOOD FLIGHT, ENJOY THE BREAK. EVERYONE'S A WINNER!!

The plane leaves at the same time whether you have priority or not!!!
If you get on first, you'll have to wait till everyone else gets on, get on near the end & the wait is less!
Why waste the money? What you save you could spend it on your Duty Free coming home.

Don't know and not bothered really. I have been going to Corfu since 1994 and lived there on two occasions. The worst I ever encountered was a charter (I think it was) about 12 years ago who had to make a stop in northern Italy to refuel because one of the engine boosters (or something) had failed.
I agree with your point jrk for inexperienced travellers but having flown to Corfu countless times (in October 2011 I flew there and back twice in 8 days!) I don't choose an airline based on what they do if something goes wrong as I guess I am lucky that something hasn't so far!
Famous last words eh!

I am interested since Ryanair now fly from Scotland to Corfu and there are likely to be aborted attempts to land at Corfu airport resulting in diversions to Athens some time during the year, due to stormy weather.
Their ARTICLE 9 - SCHEDULES, CANCELLATIONS, DELAYS AND DIVERSIONS is not very clear on the subject?
