Yes I can remember Steve - the last year we saw him he'd had a motorbike accident and was hobbling around getting lots of symnpathy - he wasnt at Roda Park the following year - Costas and Voula were running it without him then.

He was definitely there in '95 and '96. Sadly we didn't return to Corfu until 2004 and by then he had gone. I'll always be grateful to him for recommending I read "A Kitchen in Corfu" which gave me a taste of village life outside the coastal resorts.

I don't remember him, but Steve paid a visit to Roda last and was in Roda Park every day. I too have never heard of 'Roda Gardens' and I live there. I love Roda Park for the 'bourdhetto' & 'ouzatto', but my favourite is OPA - especially the 'skartotseta' which only Yiannis makes. Nikos is also excellent - particularly 'exhoxiko ', and the pastas & pizzas at Estrella are totally home-made, delicious and excellent value.
