Hi everyone. I am a student in Manchester and I'm currently writing my dissertation on how effective movies are as promotion tools for tourism destinations, in particular, Skopelos and Mamma Mia.
If anybody has time, please could you give your views on how effective the film was for promoting the area (or any other areas in the film).
Following are some questions, if you could answer any you can it would be a great help. When replying, can you please copy the question which you are answering into your reply so I know what question you are answering.
Thanks for reading guys!

4) What do you believe is the main influence on people to visit Skopelos? Is it the scenery, the cast, the story, weddings, a combination of these or anything else?
5) If you could go back and change the decision of allowing the film to be shot on the island, would you?
6) Are the tourists respectful to the small island?
7) Who are the main tourists to the island?
8) To your knowledge, what are the tourist’s opinions on how Skopelos differs from how it is represented in Mamma Mia?
9) Is there anything else you feel is worth mentioning regarding the films effects on the island?
