Hi, we are back to Kassiopi on 4th October and wondered if anyone has any idea what the weather might be like and if most places are still open? We normally go in June and September but due to work commitments we are trying October for the first time
Thanks in advance for your replies
(Not too bothered about the weather as we had a fab 2 weeks in June and will still enjoy Corfu even in a thunderstorm!)

Hi Alison, we have been in October as well as June the last few years, mainly right at the start of the month, the weather has always been very kind to us, although twice we have experienced rain like nothing on the planet. We left Uncle Simos with trousers rolled up, shoes in hand and waded up to Illusions and whilst eating dinner (inside of course) we could not hear ourselves over the rain then next morning beautiful! I love October as everything and everyone is winding down, people have got time to talk to you and although plenty hot enough to swim and lay on the beach its never too hot to bother to you and sleeping is much easier. We have even eaten outside at places like Strofilla as the trees cover a lot of their courtyard and at Little Italy, a few places are closed such as Janis and Uncle Simos last night is normally the first Saturday in October, only 60 days to go you have 61! Happy Days
