It seems that I can visit Corfu during the Easter holidays. I have my tickets - train and ferry as there are no winter flights from Budapest - so all I need is a small apartment, a studio or even a room. Anything that's affordable and not too far from the city (I'm not dreaming about renting a place within the city). I'll be there from 31 March till 05 April, staying five nights, and I'm alone. Can anyone help me with recommending a place or sharing a web site? Any help wold be greatly apppreciated.

Thanks Alison, they are far from being clear as I shot most of them (minus my avatar) with a damaged and dying old FM2, a great manual camera, back in 2002 if memory serves.

Argo in Benitses is open all year round. Benitses is about 20 minutes on the bus from Corfu town. Their website is www.argobenitses.gr
They have studios and a large apartment too Good luck and enjoy Easter in Corfu, it is a magical time

Try artemisapartments.com for information. These are wonderful apartments and are situated on the edge of Dassia which has a frequent bus service into Corfu Town.
The bus stop is right outside of the apartments and you will find their rates very reasonable.
