I recall last year some discussion on using fake wasp nests as a deterrent to other wasps as they respect territories. Has anyone had any success with them? It sounds too easy to be true!

Just come back from Kalamaki beach this morning. I was stung and so were 4 other people while we were there. Ouch!!! They are coming out in force. It's that time of year I'm afraid. It's difficult while you are out and about to keep them at bay.
Any ideas ?
