Sorry if this is already covered but couldn't find it. We are just about to return to Kalami after 12 years, there used to be a boat went to Corfu town and back from Kaloura, does this still happen? If so is there a web site with details? Alternatively does anyone know the details? Looking forward to our trip.

The only one I know of is Taverna Agni who operate a trip into town a couple of nights a week? Someone will know what days and times, and correct me, but I think it will pick up at about 1730.

Otherwise unless you hire a caique or go on an organized trip, probably form Kassiopi, it isn't that simple any more. Wish it was!

There are various boat taxis to Corfu town. The boat from Agni taverna used to go on a Wednesday and Saturday during the day. Pick up was at 10 in the morning and I think you were picked up from Corfu town at 2:15 or 2:30. Kalami tourist services also go during the day. I have seen night trips advertised at all of the travel agencies in Kalami. I'm sure you will find one.
Have a nice holiday.

I have been on trips to Corfu town with Cosmic from Kassiopi when they have picked up people in Kouloura. I don't know if they still do it or not. They leave Kassiopi at 9.30 a.m. so would be at Kouloura just before 10.00 a.m.

I will soon find out as we are off to Kassiopi on Tues. 1st. Sept. for a month.

Alec.

You can also book an evening trip from the travel agents in Kalami, picks you up at Koloura about 4pm (I think) and gets you back about 11.30, all times approximate! It's a lovely trip and nice to go when its not as hot and crowded in Corfu town.

Been on the Agni Boat, I recall it was a Wednesday, went around 10am came back mid afternoon, around 3ish if I re-call. We were picked up at Kalami.
The great thing was it took around 20mins.
There are of course coach trips (daytime and evening) and of course the local bus, but if I re-call the last one back is early evening.

We have done the evening boat trip to Corfu town twice. The first time we booked it via Sunshine Tourist office in Kalami. The excursion boat from Kassiopi picked us up at Kouloura. The larger boats do not go into Kouloura during non daylight hours so the return trip took us back to Kassiopi. Transport back to Kalami was provided and this was included in the price. The second time we booked it direct with Cosmic in Kassiopi and transported ourselves to and from Kassiopi. The boat was the Erinoula who, sadly, is no longer there but there are other boats. Second trip was a few euros cheaper but did not included transport between Kalami & Kassiopi.

The boats of Tavernas Agni and Nikolas do not offer evening trips to Corfu town as they are busy ferrying customers to the tavernas. As said above they both offer trips to Corfu town during the day. The Agni boat goes on Wednesdays & Saturdays. I'm not sure whether the Nikolas boat has a specific schedule. Kalami Tourist Services will be the place to find out. The Agni boat is more modern and faster, on the Nikolas boat you get longer to enjoy the views.

Blue Bay Tourist office in Kalami have their own boat I think and offer an evening trip to Corfu town direct from Kalami. Another option, would probably cost more unless there are around 8 or more of you, is chartering a boat (with a driver) from Kouloura - look for the signs on the boats in the harbour or ask at Kouloura taverna.

Have just realised that you asked for websites. Here are the tourist offices in Kalami:

Sunshine

Blue Bay

Kalami Tourist Services

And here are a couple of the Kassiopi ones:

Cosmic

Travel Corner

There are boat trips by day from Kassiopi to Corfu Town too. These will probably pick up and drop off at Kouloura. They can be booked in Kalami via Sunshine and possibly via Blue Bay and KTS as well.

The Taverna Agni boat can be booked via the taverna - 0030 26630 91142 and, I think, via Agni Travel - 0030 26630 91609.

Sounds as though it's quicker by boat than driving into town & much more relaxing. Does any one know how much it costs?

Last time we went on the Agni boat is was €15 per person, was a couple of years ago though, don't know if it has gone up since. Definitely more relaxing than driving and no worries about parking. The Agni boat is quicker than by car, the Nikolas boat is about the same.
