Hi, he's still there, but playing the same "tune" as always. C'mon - it would spoil it if he actually learned to play a real tune! Have a great holiday. Enjoy. Moyra

Yes the little violin man is Albanian ... and I have been told (by a friend who plays the violin) - that he only know 3 notes!!! Hahaha
He is having to shout louder this year as they have now paved the other side of the road and a lot of his potential 'customers' walk on that pavement now.

We left yesterday (Monday) and we hadn't seen him since Saturday night! But he had learnt a new note one day when we went past. Maybe the shock of hitting a different note has made him poorly.

I've seen him, true he only plays a few notes, but he works long hours on that bench! Think he has a wife, and grandkids who sell flowers in the restuarants, good to see he has staying power!

Hi all last summer he had his wife and grandkids sitting with him on a couple of nights. I wouldnt like to say how long he has been playing at the bench it has to be 7 or 8 years at least. The thing about is he is always smiling
