We have an account with smart currency exchange. Basically we contact them by phone, agree a rate for the Euro. We then do a transfer from our bank account on the internet and they then transfer it to our Greek bank account at NO charge. They usually give you approx 4 cents above the bank rate too. I doesn't sound a lot but if you're transferring a lot of money it amounts to quite a lot.
