Fuzz,

If you post your request on the Rhoda forum you are more likely to get replies.

Hi Fuzz

http://www.holidays-uncovered.co.uk/frames.htm

try this, just found your Blue Gardens on there, go to site, Corfy, Roda, Scroll down to Blue Gardens.  There are a few reviews - they are MIXED!

Hope this is helpful, just remember everyones opinions are different & their expectations of a holiday

We haven't actually atayed at the Blue Gardens, but have spent many days there during our last 2 holidays on Corfu. My inlaws stayed there a few times and loved the place, and are good friends with Andreas and Elena who own them, so we now make an effort to visit them whenever we are over there.

They are located a little way out of the town, up a quiet road about 5 - 10 minutes walk into the centre of Roda. The rooms are a little on the small side, but have all the basics and even things like an ironing board which you don't find too often! There is no air conditioning, but fans are available for a few euros a week as are safety deposit boxes. There are only about 11 apartments altogether at Blue Gardens, so it is easy to get to know everyone, and even though the pool is open to everyone, you rarely get "outsiders" in due to its location, meaning its never crowded.

As mentioned previously, the are owned by Andreas and Elena who have a little girl, Marianthi who often makes an appearance! (shes a little cutie!) They really cannot do enough for you, and go that extra mile to make your holiday more enjoyable. Many of the vistors to Blue Gardens return year after year and you become part of an extended family. Costas is another person you will see a lot of, he runs the bar in the afternoon/ evening until the last person leaves and on your last day he will stay until your coach comes to take you to the airport, whatever time it arrives!

The pool area is very well looked after, its quite shallow, even in the "deep" end, so its ideal if you have young children. Andreas occasionally puts up the volleyball net over the pool so everyone can have a game. There is also a small childrens pool which has padded sides for safety.

I am sure you will have a good time at Blue Gardens, if there is anything else I can help with please ask and I will see what I can do. I am sure if I don't know, the mother in law will! I have changed my avatar to a picture of the Blue Gardens, there are a couple of others in my gallery (click the photo icon above this post)

Fuzz,

I was in Roda last July and passed these apartments most days and they looked good to me.

Meet a couple in a bar who stayed there and they liked living there.

Hope you enjoy your holiday
