We are staying in Kassiopi and wonder if we are goign to be able to find a baby steriliser for her bottles rather than dragging ours over?

Unfortunately I do not have any information about baby sterilisers (poor baby!).

However, on the catering side of your post there is an business called The Invisible Kitchen that do catering for dinners in villas. Check out their website www.theinvisiblekitchen.co.uk - it all sounds wonderful.

Have a wonderful holiday

Regards
Lynn

Hi Giveitblackmore

You will find baby sterilizers to buy in Corfu town. But you can't rent rent one.

Useful info here:

All you need to bring is your preferred brand of steriliser tablet or liquid.  A plastic basin, deep sandwich box or any such like plastic container in the villa will do.  To be on the safe side we used bottled water to mix the tablet with, but I'm sure that tap water would do, after all it is going to be sterilised.

agree with eileen. we used to do that, ice cream container or even deep glass bowl with plate on top/or clingfilm works.

You can buy a pack of sterilising tablets in disposable bags from Mothercare - we found them invaluable. Think they're about £8 for six.

hi, I just got back from corfu with my 8 month old baby and what I did was buy sterlizing sacks fom mothercare £7.99 I think for 7 the tablets are in the sack all you do is wash the bottles as normal fill the sack up with water to the level line and away to go it only takes 3 hours for the bottles to sterlize and the sack lasts for 24 hours . The best i've ever used, hope this helps.

You could even boil them if you want. I used to wait until i was down to the last bottle then boil the rest and the dummies in a large pan of bottled water with the lid on.  Remove from pan after draining and store with teats and caps on.

Theres a baby shop on the main road in Acharavi where you can find everything you need for a baby, sterilisers included.
