We first went to Corfu in May 2003 and stayed in a villa at Kaminaki. At this time of year the island seems to be bursting with beautiful scenery and wildlife. Everything is lush and there are lavish amounts of wild flowers and plants as well as butterflies, insects, birds and fire flies.
Breath Taking Views
Having flirted with Kaminaki and Kassiopi we fell head over heels with Kalami. The views are breath taking and infact apart from outings to tavernas we just stay put by the pool and watch the tide rolling in, the ships passing and drink in the view along with the wine
The people were very friendly and we discovered the delights of Greek tavernas. So we just fell in love with Corfu!! Up until this point we had always thought it strange when people went back to the same place every year but we are now strange ourselves and went again in May 2004 (not as hot this time but still beautiful), twice this year and have booked twice for next year.
