Hello all, and welcome to my members page on the Corfu Travel Guide!
For those of you who do not know me, my name is Dean, I am married to Dawn and we have a son, Ryan, aged 8. We have been visiting Greek islands for the past 6 years, and loved every one we went to in its own unique way, so in 2004 we decided to visit Corfu for the first time. I was wary at first, as I had heard that it was very british orientated, and also very "touristy" which was not what I wanted in a holiday abroad, but now we have been there, I can honestly say that although some resorts are that way, its never too far away to find the 'real' Corfu, and I would be happy to spend every holiday on Corfu, and maybe one day actually live there.
On this page I hope to enlighten a few more people on the lovely resort of Acharavi, situated on the North coast of the island between Roda and Kassiopi, and share my experiences of the whole island from our three visits to date.
