SIROKE
THE KEFALONIAN ROBOLA PRODUCERS CO-OPERATIVE
The Sineterismos Robolas Kefalonias (Co-operative of Robala Wine on Kefalonia) was founded in 1982 and has 260 members from the area of Omala and Troyianata. The co-op vinifies about 70% of the total Robola grown annually and is the largest wine making concern on Kefalonia. It was formed to promote Robola and to protect the interests of the grape growers in the appellation zone. The winery is situated near the Monastery of Saint Gerassimos in the Omala valley 400 metres above sea level on the foothills of Mount Ainos.
The winery offers large terraced areas with dramatic views of the surrounding countryside and Saint Gerassimos Monastery.
It is ideal for larger wedding receptions.
