Zest Villas at Xi Beach

The four detached villas are situated in the beautiful coastal plain area of Xi, famous for the shallow warm waters and teracotta coloured sand.

Just 200 metres away the lovely beach of Xi offers a range of facilities with sunbeds, watersports and snacks available. The very shallow water is perfect for children. The natural clay from the land-mark cliffs along this coastline provides endless fun for children and a beauty therapy for adults.

Each of the two-storey villas can be taken as villa for up to 10 persons or rented separately as two apartments. The top floor has one bedroom (plus 2 persons on sofa-bed). Ground floor has two bedrooms sleeping 4 persons plus 2 on sofa-bed in the living room. Each villa has a a first-floor covered balcony looking out over the swimming pool and to the sea beyond. The ground floor of the villa has patio doors opening out onto the sunbathing terrace.

Lovely views from the upstairs bedrooms. Bedrooms are twin and double with sofabed converting to double bed in the living room.

The whole of the ground floor is an open-plan living room with dining area and kitchen at the far end. The comfortable sofa converts to a double bed for sleeping 3rd and 4th persons.
There is a TV and DVD and the villas are aif-conditioned.

There is a large dining table and four chairs in the living/dining area on the ground floor and the large upstairs covered balcony has bamboo patio furniture for 4 persons for a relaxing drink with lovely views.

The fitted kitchen has a small cooker and fridge as well as a toaster and kettle.

Near the villas at Xi beach 200 metres away you will find a restaurant, cafe and bar.

Lixouri is a few kilometres away from Zest villas and this is the second largest town on the island of Kefalonia with a variety of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. The area is very traditionally Greek and very uncommercialised.

The local ferry runs every hour from Lixouri town over to Argostoli making the whole island easily accessible by car.

A feature of the area in general is the wealth of local villages each with their own interest. Visit the little beach at Vatsa and try fresh fish caught by the local fishermen.

The tiny village of Vouni near Mantavinata is home to the Foivos winery which produces Robolla wine and invites you to taste their produce.

In the area of Lepeda there are the remains of an ancient montastery built into the rock cliffs of the beach.

Further north brings you to the stunning Kipouria monastery and picturesque villages which don't seem to have changed for decades.

Exploring the Pali Peninsular brings you in touch with the friendly locals but if you want to totally relax, everything you need is at your doorstep at the Zest Villas.

A short walk from the villas brings you to the A class Cepahalonia Palace Hotel with all its facilities.

At the hotel theere's a large swimming pool and children's pool wih a gymnasium, basketball, tennis, volleyball, table tennis, pool table and children's playground. The hotel arranges scuba diving, water sports and sailing.

For workaholics there are business services from internet to conference facilities at the nearby hotel.
