Il Veliero Studios and Apartments are set in a delightful location in five acres of olive groves in the village of Tzamarelata less than fifteen minutes' drive from Fiscardo.
The property affords splendid sea and sunset views from the balconies.
The interiors are comfortable and furnished with good taste and to a high standard. High ceiliings with decorative wooden beams are so well insulated that the rooms are always fresh and airy.

The double-bedded studios are spacious enough to take a third bed sleeping up to 3 persons. There is a private shower/wc room and a kitchenette with a fridge and electric hotplates suitable for preparing breakfast and light meals. Two studios on the ground floor have a sun terrace and the first floor studio has its own private balcony.

The apartments have a double bed and single bed with private shower/wc and kitchenette facilities similar to the the studios, but more spacious. The apartments have either private balcony or terrace from where you can watch splendid sunsets.
Ceiling fans are provided for the hottest part of the season.
The studios and apartments can take an additional bed for third person in the studios and fourth person in the larger apartments.

Laundry and Linen

Guests staying a week or more will receive a twice weekly change of bed linen and towels. A washing machine is also available to guests (pay locally 5 euro per wash).

Extensive gardens offer shade under ancient olive trees. There is a communal wood-burning oven for making home-made pizzas and BBQs. Guests are invited to collect wood and cook their own food.

The local beaches for Tzamarelata are 2.5 - 3 kms from the property at Ai Jerusalim and Alaties. Boats can be moored at Ai Jerusalim and the area is ideal for exploring secret coves in crystal clear water.
Other beaches to be found en route to Fiscardo are Dafnoudi and Emblissi.

The property is owned and run by Vittorio and Edith who spend 8 months in Kefalonia and the rest of their time in Italy. The property is named Il Veliero (sailing boat) as they have a love of the sea. They are very friendly and welcoming hosts who will give you information on everything to see and do in the area.
Their lovely daughter Sarah will assist with reservations and spends most of the summer months at Il Veliero. The ladies can enjoy a relaxing massage with aromatherapy oils which takes place under the ancient olive trees.
The family have many repeat guests to their home each year and look forward to welcoming new visitors and old friends alike. They are very welcoming and accommodating and will even allow you to bring your pets if they are well-trained!
