Cephalonia Connections

Cephalonia Connections is a free holiday advisory service based on the island, working in association with selected specialist British tour operators as well as Greek licensed agencies and local property owners. Managed by Francesca Roe who acts as a personal travel advisor.

About me

My connection with Greece started in Athens in the late 1970s. I was Overseas Manager for Sunmed in Greece in the 1980s and after working for Inspirations and First Choice in the UK, I moved to Cephalonia in 1991 where I started a handling agency and, for 14 years, handled the incoming tourism for several tour operators until Tapestry Holidays went into liquidation in 2006 leaving some large unpaid bills. With the motto of 'don't get mad, get a job' I started Cephalonia Connections!

Working with specialist tour operators, I have learned the importance of dealing with guests as individuals, whose requirements and expectations vary. With the help of today's technology, I can respond specifically to your requests and ensure your voice is not lost in cyber-space!

Assos Beach Apartments

Sleeps 2-5
Four brand new apartments in Assos consist of studios sleeping 2 to 3 and one-bedroom apartments sleeping 2 to 5 persons. Each apartment has a kitchenette and balcony with sea view.
Assos Beach Apartments

Two-bedroom villas with private pool, flights from London Heathrow or Manchester on Saturdays. Can be booked without flights but only on a Saturday changeover day and minimum stay one week.

Detached three-bedroom villas with private pool and flights from London Heathrow and Manchester on Saturdays.

Assos Accommodation

Accommodation in Assos is mainly to be found on the narrow isthmus leading to the peninsula with views of the village, castle, harbour and rugged coastline out to Myrtos, or tucked away in leafy lanes amongst the crumbling remains of Venetian mansions. There is a choice of self-catering studios and apartments, bed and breakfast pensions and a few villas with pools.

These can be booked as a package with flights from LHR and MAN.
One bedroom apartments with shared pool by the beach in Fiscardo Any day of the week arrival with minimum of 5 nights booking. The apartments each have separate bedroom with twin beds, separate kitchen/dining room and separate living room with sofa-bed for 2 persons.
Highly recommended.

Three bedroom private villa with swimming pool, sleeps 5. 10 mins walk into Fiscardo. Flights on Saturdays from Manchester and London Heathrow. Changeover day is always Saturday.

Villa Nora has a master bedroom with patio doors leading to the poolside terrace with sea views. It is an L shaped bungalow style villa with complete privacy and is ideal for a honeymoon in the village of Trapezaki in the 'sandy south' of Kefalonia island. It even has a family chapel next door!

What I love about this private villa for a honeymoon is the master bedroom which has three sets of French windows that open out on to three separate balconies - each offering wonderful views of the sea and surrounding countryside. The view from the balcony at Villa Valio is panoramic - looking south to the Assos peninsula, north to the pretty village of Vassilikades and endless ocean in between! Tucked away in a tiny village a short drive from Manganos is a stone cottage for two set in spacious grounds with private pool. Sold as a package with flights on Saturdays and jeep hire included.
