The appeal of Lakithra lies in its proximity to Argostoli town and local sandy beaches. There are fabulous rural and sea views and it has traditional village 'feel'. It's a small settlement with its own bakery and a few tavernas. Although it is a sleepy village off season, unlike many of the tourist resorts it stays functional during the winter months.
