The LindA Foundation is a humanitarian Christian charity organization, non political and non profit, with as a mission statement: to help the people of Northern Uganda and Uganda as a whole, to alleviate poverty, to give them a chance at a brighter future and a humane existence.
The main activity of The LindA Foundation is looking after the separated, orphaned, vulnerable children of the districts. These children are no ones target group, as they have not been abducted by the rebels nor do they live in a camp. But they are the largest group and in a desperate situation, often traumatized by what they have witnessed.

House of Grace Orphans Rehabilitation Home
In our Orphans home in Gweng Abara (near Lira) 42 children have found a permanent home. We try to give our children total parental care, a new home, a new family with children who have all undergone the same trauma￿s.

SOS programme
We run an SOS Program: Send an Orphan to School. Almost 100 children are benefiting from the programme. We initially thought this would entail only school fees, however experience revealed that it very often means total support and care. These children are total orphans, either with no parents or they are living with a relative who is unable to support them.
