In 1865, the British left Kefalonia but Britannia ruled the Ionian waves on 5th March 2006 when the British entry won first prize with their float called Britain
in Kefalonia. With a map of Britain within the map of Kefalonia on a float with Big Ben and a tongue in cheek, representation of all things British they made history on this day!
