Our 1st holiday to Corfu 9 years ago was to Acharavi, stayed at the apartments next to The Navigator right on the beach. Most nights we strolled to the Starlight Bar with friends we met and had a great time. Last time we visited for a couple of days it was closed??

Hi All
Does the Sun apartments have a pool, pool bar and serve food?
Also, what is the nearest bar/taverna?
Thanks in advance
Cheers

Hi Gareth   When we stayed at the Sun it did have a pool bar and served snacks, during the day but the bar was closed about 7pm in the evening. Not sure if this is still the case as it has been  several years since we stayed there. Soctretes was great and he did everything, look after appts, gardening, and serving at the pool bar all day .etc . I would say Panda bar or the local greek cafe on village road is the nearest taverna. Although the main street is not to far away.
Jill & Rob looking forward to next holiday to Corfu

Hi, The Sun resort has a lovely pool which is well looked after, however in September the pool bar/snack bar was closed, but I think it would be open in high season. You are made welcome in the Century hotel next door. The only problem with the Sun resort we found was that you were dropped off at the Pumphouse and had to get up to the hotel on foot. The bars and restaurants are only a short walk and you are always made welcome in the Cosy Corner bar by Nico who is a great guy, hope this info helps.

Hi,

Staying at the Restia Suites for 2 weeks from 25/5. Only our second time to Corfu and first time staying in Acharavi. Last time we stayed in Aghios Stephanos a few miles away but went down to Acharavi most afternoons and always said we'd stay there next time we visited the island. Really looking forward to it.

HI Gerry
The Restia Suites look a really nice place, and its a lovely walk along the beach to Acharavi, and I think they have their own transport running to and from AcharaviSmile. Hope you have a great time.

Hi Jules, thanks for your reply, from all the comments here, looks like we will have a terrific time, stayed just outside of Sidari last August and really loved the area, just out of curiosity, how far is Roda from Acharavi? Within walking distance?
cheers
