We love walking and look forward to walking round the coast from our base at A & A. I wonder whether any other forum members have some suggestions for walks inland. Anything up to around 16km would be great.
Thanks.

We aren't walkers but know the roads pretty well.
How about make your way to Kendroma, either along the road or across to Agni then take the path up to Kendroma, then take the road that goes up to Porta. Brilliant views all the way.
Or take the coast road towards Kassiopi, turn left for Vigla and then on up.
There's a road that starts just opposite the turn down to Kalami/Kouloura but I don't know where it goes.
Get Stephans map, available via this site, if you haven't got it already, shows all the roads.
By the way, from our experience, some of the walking maps show tracks that don't or longer exist, for instance there are supposed to be 2 walks that pass through our little hamlet, one even goes round the side of our garden, unfortunately they go nowhere, we often have to redirect irate walkers back to the main village. They sometimes act as if its our fault.

From Kalami you are able to walk the coast towards Nissaki in one direction and Ag. Stephanos and beyond the other way. I have some directions for both walks but cannot send a PM to a new member. I can email if you wish to post your contact details or wait until you can receive PM's and I will send to you.

Picking up on Bob's point - if you make it to Porta, there is a "Pirate trail" that runs down from there to San Stephanos.  Between Port and Sinies, it roughly follows the road, but cut out all of the hairpin bends, and then from Sinies, it goes past the front of Yannis supermarket and then through the olive groves down to Stephanos, coming out by the church.

You can then follow the coast path back to Kalami.

Ooh - a pirate trail - must give that a try. LOL. Clearly, we're not going to be short of walks. Just need to remember to have a lazy day now an again.
