Hi all,
New to the forum and this is my first post. I have enjoyed reading back through the past few pages, but now I feel very confused indeed!!!

I think Kassiopi looks ideal for us this year. We like having a villa with a private pool as it is easier with a toddler, hence we are considering Villa Olga. It appears a lot of villas are booked up already and what is available is >£5000 for a 2 week holiday which is over our budget. Any other suggestions? Normally travel with Villa Plus but there isn't one for less than £4500 in the area, just Barbati.

Any comments on this villa? We don't mind a little walk in the evenings into the resort, would it be a steep walk back? Also what are the roads/pavements (if any) like along here? Thinking of safety for a toddler as he maybe out of his buggy then.

Sorry to bombard you with questions, I have so many others, but this will do for now!

Really appreciate your experience and knowledge, thank you.

These prices are very steep. Have you considered booking independently? Look at the lovely villas on Agni Travel...link at top of this page. Also, check out Holiday Lettings, Flipkey, Owners Direct.
Research your flights on www.skyscanner.net

If its definatly a villa you are after why not get in touch with Mile and Vera at Cosmic Travel, but with a small family have you thought about either the Hercules/Sunflower both the same appartments or the Amillia. Both have good swiming pools and are convinient for everything in Kassiopi (5 minutes walk from anywhere). As for the roads there is only one main road (one road in and one road out) which was refurbish about 4/5 years ago so perfectly safe for buggies and push chairs, hope this might be some help

Thanks both for your replies.

Regarding the road, that is good to know.
I do use skyscanner and will check out the other sites mentioned, thanks for the tips.

We really would like a villa, love the ease of it, would consider other resorts if we can't find what we want, but Kassiopi looks so nice I would like to get something there if possible.

No thoughts on Villa Olga???  Is it right on thr main road, ie would it suffer from noise?

Once again appreicate any input.  Thanks.

Although the main road bypasses Kassiopi at night there is not that much trafic as we know it in Britian  so trafic noise isnt really a problem, hope you choose Kassiopi, Im sure you wont be dissapointed as many of us have been for up to 35 years so it cant really be that bad now can it?

Villa Olga is set back off the main road The road noise is minimal and is in a great location for Kassiopi My daughter stayed there 2 years ago as part of a free up grade as the apartments she booked were full. They loved it.
Keep taking your, take a holiday in kassiopi pills.

Brilliant, sounds great for us. Really helpful responses thanks.
Kassiopi appears to be a destination which creates an addiction, hopefully we will find out for ourselves soon!

Hi Marietot,
Dont know what websites you are looking at for villas because those prices are horrendous.
As someone else mentioned look at independant villa websites I can recommend Villa Veronika (Owners Direct website). It already has a few bookings but there is a calendar on the website that will tell you what dates are free. It is in Imerolia which is about 5-10 minutes walk from Kassiopi but it is a straight road then up a little lane with a pool and across the road from Imerolia beach and taverna.

Looking at Villaplus and Thomson, also checking Owners Direct, Holiday Lettings and Homeaway. I am going around in circles!!!

I love the personal recommendation thanks, but unfortunately it is booked over the summer so I can't fit in a 2 week holiday (just 12 days). Shame. Any other thoughts???

I am getting blurry eyed looking at holiday websites!

Bella Mare Hotel in Avalaki? It is on the Agni site and has a really beautiful garden and pool yet is also right on the beach. Never seems too crowded/busy and studio apartments are really spacious.

Hi,
Would also look at the Kassiopi Bay apartments. They are just past the harbour up a small incline so nice and quiet with a lovely pool and never seemed very busy around the pool even when full. Also may be nicer for your toddler to be in shared accommodation rather than a villa as could find friends to play with.

Some great suggestions, I am surprised in a good way about the quality of apartments available and will consider these should the villa not be an option based on cost.  Bella Mare looks fabulous in location and I love the luxury apartment at Kassiopi Bay along with the central location and views.  Kassiopi does look stunning.

Thanks a lot.  Will keep you updated!

We stayed at Villa Olga a few years ago. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, very large living room & big kitchen. The pool was rather small. But if the price is £5.000 for two weeks it's not worth it.

Thanks for the info.  It is about £4000, hence why we are considering it, but to clarify that includes flights, so about £2,500 for the 2wks.  Still not worth it?

Great to hear from someone who has actually stayed, appreciate your response Smile

Hi
we stayed at the Villa Olga a couple of years ago , we loved it , it is spotlessly clean , not to far to walk , a bit uphill , but nothing to worry about very spacious , i beleive the owner is a school teacher, it is nice being a little way from the village , you will not be hearing much noise even though it is on the busy main road , and if you have a little one  it is enclosed so need to worry about that , as has been said the pool is small , i have a photo of the pool can i PM you at all >?
