Not a bad Travel report in the Sunday Mail.
At last someone who knows the island rather than a day tripper on Captain Hook.
Must admit that after 11 visits to Paxos we still haven't done the Sunset taverna thing.
Have driven down the bumpy single track road to find it during the day. (closed)
Much better to view it all from below on your boat. Huge cliffs that make you feel so very small.

Captain Hook, I hate that boat. Don't let him push you towards the rocks but keep in front and P him off all the way over to Anti Paxos.
You are faster in Roxi 5.

The restaurant they mentioned is the Erimitis one that's undergone a few reinventions over the years! Often following feedback from customers. Quite expensive (author of article must be used to London prices) & an interesting menu this year. The chap running the gallery there this year refers to it as a concept store, what the heck is that??? It attracts those who like an 'upmarket' experience. I think Malcy the other Sunset Taverna would possibly be more up your street, more traditional Greek fare, Konstanida. Closed early this year, same sunset as Erimitis, but no gallery or new photography deck.

Good though that Paxos still offers dining at both ends of the scale.

Malcy, we've not done the Erimitis sunset either - and that's after something like 25 years! Mind you, it took us about 10 years to get around to going to Anti Paxos
I wasn't lost - I was just taking an interesting detour!

I've done Erimitis sunset once and it was  ok, nothing that special. Found that there are just as nice places to eat without the hype or the hole in the pocket.

Now, what I would like to try and find my way to is Erimitis beach. Anyone been there? That's by foot Malcy not boat!

Not sure I fancy Erimitis beach. I still remember somebody posting photos on here of when it literally appeared overnight due to a cliff collapse about 10 years ago. I don't think I'd be able to get the thought of a repeat out of my mind

We used to visit the bar when it was just a bar, it was great for people watching, now we go on the Saturday lunchtime before leaving Paxos, having topped the car up at Magazia. We go to see how the bar has changed, take a photo of the rotting lorry(?) and to visit the church. A couple of years ago it was beautifully decorated because it was it's saint's day, swags of flowers and greenery around the walls and bay leaves scattered all over the floor and pathway in, the smell was fantastic. Also I think there is the only picnic table (not in a holiday let) in Paxos in the churchyard.

Thank you Mannag 52  -   You know Paxos as we do.

Shakes - I can see where you are thinking about. Lovely spot.
It is a lovely little cove and beach.

Forget it.    Even thought about it on Roxi 5.
