Does anyone know if flat pack self assembly kitchen units are available in the north of the island or Corfu town

I only know of the kitchen shop in Acharavi, somewhere near Hermes. But I don't know if they do flat pack units, or just commercial type items. Have you considered IKEA, personally not my favourite shop, but at least its in Ioanina, and I undestand that they will deliver. Have you thought about buying in UK and shipping over. Thats what we did 20 something years ago, we are in the process of ordering new doors and taking them out ouselves in September, the existing doors are getting pretty shabby and old fashioned. Before you ask, IKEA dont have any designs we like for doors. We think we have chosen to have ours made for us, not a cheap option, but non the less that way de get what we want. Bob

Local Corfu carpenters can be really good and almost as inexpensive as IKEA for kitchens- doors are easy too, and a fraction of the UK cost

We have already checked in Corfu, and none of the carpenters we asked could offer what we want, other than importing from Germany, much dearer than bringing them out ourselves. Bob
