We have just returned from one of our best holidays ever in Roda. We stayed at the Theodoros Fiona apartments and they were simply fantastic. The pool area is superb, lots of sunbeds and parasols, with beautiful gardens. All the flowers are in bloom at the moment, and there were lovely whiffs of roses and jasmine all day long. The apartment itself was lovely - it looked as though it was recently refurbished with new fixtures and fittings. The cleaner was fantastic - came in every day except Wednesday and kept the place spotless. The weather was a bit unsettled, but pretty hot most days. I don't think we would go so early in the season again, our first week was very quiet with many places not yet open. Not many people about either, probably because it was a bit chilly at night. The second week was much busier, and as we left more and more premises were showing signs of life. We discovered a restaurant that we have inexplicably walked past loads of times - Roxanne's. Do give this place a try if you are going - we enjoyed it so much after our first visit that we went back 6 times in 2 weeks! Great value food and superb quality.  They have a special menu each night (2 courses for 8.90) and the normal menu is very varied (the swordfish was the best I ever tasted). Most evenings we went either to see Yiannis in Big Ben, or Dot and Alex in Crusoes - both highly recommended, before finishing off for a nightcap (or two) in the Theodoros bar.  All in all - can't wait to go back next year!

Sounds fab Lynda...like you have wondered about going early on, but I like the place to be full of life...so will take your cmments on board!
