Hi,
As many people will visit Corfu for Greek Easter, can anyone recommend any tavernas and restaurants that will be open at this time and also their opening times as I know some only open evenings and some only on specific days. I will start with Mon Amour (Kokkinos) in Kavadades which is open every day but evenings only.

Normally, yes. During the winter, Roumeli is only open in the evening.

Vangelis who owns Boleros in Kassiopi doesn't normally open as early as April but he told us when we were there in September he might open this year as so many old friends were going to be there for Easter. Always a warm welcome

Boulis in Lakones opened the week before Easter last year but didn't sell any meat dishes till after Easter. The beans were wonderful.

Both Elizabeth's and Doukas in Doukades will be open - Doukas maybe only in the evening though before Easter - need to check!

McCance - thanks it is good to know that Elizabeth's and Doukas will be open.
We are there the first two weeks of April to coincide with the UK College holidays, sadly we will miss the Greek Easter this year. Do you know if The Veranda near Lakones and with the fantastic views of the bay of Paleokastritsa will be open early April? We believe the Old Peritheia Restaurant and the Foros Restaurant may be open during the day, but at evenings during the weekends? Marisa

Try "San Paramithi" It's just after the New Port in Eboriko area. Very nice food with reasonable prices!

Hi, Boukari Beach restaurant is usually open over the Easter period. On Easter Sunday, they have a few Lambs roasting on the spit.
Its` lovely to sit at a table right next to the sea, with all the Greek Easter specialities, at lunch time, watching the waves lapping.. So peaceful !

Hi Muffy,
Boukari is in the south of Corfu, past Moraitika & down into Messonghi, then follow the coast road from Messonghi. Only a few minutes past Messonghi, very peaceful & picturesque..

The Smurfs in Paleo bay is open Saturday and Sunday throughout March and they said it will be every day from 1st April .....
