Hi
I have been looking for a package holiday in Kassiopi, in May/June but there seems to be nothing available. Have all the UK companies pulled out this year?

Book it yourself mate nearly everyone does now and it works, just get advice for flights and insurance and hotels and apartments, everyone on here is very helpful. Good luck.

Hi Stue.  We usually book a package to Kassiopi through Direct Holidays or Thomas Cook.  We did price up doing it ourselves but the prices for the flights from Newcastle are daft and it's just as cheap for us to book through an agent once we add up flights, accommodation, transfers.  Depending on where you're flying from though, I do know flights from other airports can be quite reasonable so it's definitely worth checking out to see if its cheaper to do it yourself.  There's loads of nice places to stay in Kassiopi and if you can't find anything yourself on line, The Travel Corner in Kassiopi can help you with accommodation.  Hope you get booked up ok!

I have considered booking flight only and accomodation seperately but it tends to work out much more expensive,
I was only looking for a week and wanted to keep it simple.
Also I know transfers could be arranged but I would not relish the thought of picking up a hire car at the airport and navigating to the other side of Corfu town!

I've just had a look on the Direct Holidays website and there is a holiday to Kassiopi from Newcastle leaving 1 June.  Not sure which airport you would fly from but there might be other holidays available.  If you use Direct, make sure you use the Corfu option rather than Greek Islands, Any, on the Destinations as that option doesn't bring anything up for Kassiopi!  Good luck Thumbs Up

Hi Stue, we were anxious the first time we did it ourselves but it was really simple.  Getting transfers isn't a problem and accommodation that time of year is such good value.  The place we always stay (Theofilos) have fantastic deals for may (betwee E180 and E230 for a week).  How I wish I could get away before August when prices are so high!

I have heard good things about Phillipos and I see that Cosmos do packages to there although they do work out quite pricy.  Wherever you end up, enjoy x

Hi Stue
Have a search for Travel Corner Kassiopi for accomadation they also would organise transfers I believe. You would have to book your own flights though. Also Villa Perris is cool.We booked with Olympic this year first time for ages with a travel company while it is all sorted now after they tried to change our flights to rubbish o clock We had to pay another 60.00 to get better o clock...I will go back to independant travel again from now on.
Have a good holiday whatever you decide.

Hi Stue,

I do not know where you live, so do not know where you can fly from. Last May we paid £16.00 for a studio for a week at the Lofos through Olympic. £18.00 each return for a shuttle bus to Kassiopi through Travel Republic. We booked eight months in advance, but that is when you get good deals. There is no way we would book a package anymore, we have not done so for a few years.

Hope you get something sorted

Kind Regards
Tom and Marion
