Hi Everyone!
I'm new to this forum and wondering if you could help re the above apartments which I believe are on the outskirts of Sidari - Karousades.  Can you advise if these apartments would be suitable for a young couple with 3 kids (10, 4 and 1 years old)?  Or is it a very quiet area and would they be better going for something in the centre of Sidari.  This query is on behalf of my daughter's family and although they like "quiet" I'm sure they would like to take the kids out at night where there is a little bit of buzz!  Also, do you have any info on the beach close to the apartments?  Many thanks! Big smile

Hi,
Tthese apartments are very nice and set in large grounds with their own childrens play area. However they are inland some 800 metres from the beach at Agios Ionnis; which is not the sandy part of Sidari. It is also at least 1.5km walk into the main strip. On the plus side you are within 1km of Sidari Water Park which is suitable for the children.

If you know Sidari, go along beach front with Canal D'Amour end behind you and walk as far as you can. One of last places on front is Wave Bar and apartments. Alessandro & Marilyn are some 800 metres inland behind them; there is a small road nearby.

Unless you plan to spend a lot of time around the pool and eat there then this may just be a bit to far to walk to town and back, to the sandy beach and back every day (maybe twice if out in evening) unless you are all used to walking, especially the children. Remember it will be hot and there is little shade along the way.

Thank you Dave for your detailed reply.  I don't think my daughter will go for these apartments - as you say the beach is a good bit away especially for kids and a buggy! - I think the Booking.Com website stated that the beach is only a few minutes away.
