Has anyone been to Kalami in early May? If so what was the weather like and are all the tavernas open? Thanks

Allways go in MAY. It is usually pretty good weather wise. To be fair it does become more consistent as May progresses. However we've allways had good weather, with a little rain. The evenings do COOL a little, take a cardi! The Tavernas are OPEN and excellent. The evenings are fresh as is the landscape, and the FIREFLIES are magical. Just walk a little out of the village lights, the darker. the better, they GLOW, as do I after a Litre of Wine. Walk round to Agni, early morning, book a table for the evening (The boat will pick you up,from the jetty in Kalami)/ Have a coffee and a dream, then walk back! It's Great!! What a start to the day.Dont forget the Elia Bar (Ex Summer Dreams) Lovely Dorina & Eric will welcome you. Everyone in Kalami will welcome you. Look forward to seeing you! Well said Woodie, we there 6 weeks today, cant wait. We been lucky with the weather in May, not much rain. All the taverna owners are welcoming after their rest out of season. Roll on May lol Ann xxx

We go 18th May and can't wait! Last time we went at this time the weather was fabulous, so fingers crossed. I prefer the evenings to be cooler, helps to keep the prickly heat down
