Just wondered if some old names still visit the site. I am talking about 10 years since I was last on.

Hi I don't come on the site so often and its a shame that people don't. I come on now and then to see if anyone has returned so to speak. I have found a LOT or people go on Facebook asking for info and telling of their experiences.
I am going 4 weeks on Saturday Smile Kassiopi for 12 days back home for 5 weeks then back again for a week Thumbs Up   Love it and hope you all have great holidays.

Jan x

Looking forward to an update after your visits Jan πŸ€—
Must say I look to tripadvisor for info if visiting somewhere new in the world as they also have local forums but think they're all linked through TA. Not sure how Agni Forum can reach out and be noticed on the internet these days? Maybe someone has ideas?

Hi

We flew back yesterday from a great week in Kassiopi. Good weather (mostly), good food (Melina Bay, Limani, Sousouro, Petrino, Virginia's), good wine (see good food) and good company.
Some changes over the last ten years or so - dive shop closed several years ago, is now a grill room.  Another grill room - Chill & Grill opened a few years ago on the road down to the harbour (next door to Mary's which is still there).  New ice cream shop in it's third or 4th season - I think it used to be a jewellery shop.  Hotel Kassimee on the harbour closed down, was empty for several years and opened completely refurbished in June 2014 as Melina Bay.  Petrino moved down to the harbour.  Not sure how long Sousouro has been there - it is on the path through to Solaris complex.  The shops generally have increased merchandise quality & price.
We're already planning our next visit.

Deedee Big smile

Hi Frilly2.

Yes, we've seen it. We were in Kassiopi last weekend. The Melina Bay pool is not huge but is in a decked area with sun loungers so hotel guests no longer have to go elsewhere if they want to sunbathe. Lovely view from the pool & deck.

If you stand looking at the hotel with your back to the harbour, the pool and decked area are at the side of the hotel to your left.  The area was previously garden.

Sounds great, perfect for cooling down, even if a bit small for swimming. A real asset to the hotel.
