Thank you all but due to shortage of time and accommodation we are off to Lefkada so somewhere completely new! Do you think they still have Mythos there?

I hear Kalami calling at the end of September though!!

Have you considered Arillas? Kalami will always be first choice but really liked it when I visited and seemed to have a very similar feel. Sorry can't help with accommodation and appreciate very last minute but may be worthwhile looking.

Hi Lins, have a look at Moriatika or Messonghi, both great quiet resorts with plenty of great tavernas and a few bars.

Loutses would be much more fun I think. Lovely position- excellent tavernas around in all directions (short car rides only)- a positive change I think!

Loutses is a traditional Greek hillside village. 15minutes or so from Acharavi, and 20minutes to Kassiopi, roughly 10minutes to St. Spiridon beach (the nearest), all times by car.
San Stephanos is pretty much selfcontained.

Hi all.

My other half has just booked next week off so we are scrabbling to find a last minute villa.
Two options on Corfu are: a villa in San Stef (NE) with no views but walking distance to everything or a villa Loutses with views, one taverna within walking distance otherwise having to go everywhere in the car.

We usually stay in Kalami where we have obviously been spoiled with all these things. We know San Stef but haven't been as far north as Loutses so don't know that area at all.

Alternatively, Kefalonia or Lefkada and we havent been to either of these either.

Help!!!
