Hi,
I am thinking about staying in Corfu to see some of the Easter celebrations but won't be able to resist visiting Paleokastritsa for a few days even though it is likely that I will visit in July.
Can anyone advise what is likely to be open. I am mainly concerned about eating out and a few drinks in the evenings.

Peter.

Thanks for your advice.
Whilst booking I have sensed that it gets busy.
Flights are filling too.

In answer to your main question, although I am unfamiliar with Paleo, regardless of where you are at Easter, there will be some places up and running but you will need to search around nearer the time. Remember, broadly speaking, Easter Sunday lunch is the main event after Saturdays midnight church service.
Have a great time, we will, well we always have so far.

Thanks Bob
I was expecting to have limited availability and don't mind so long as we get to a resort that isn't completely closed.
It was my intention to spend some of the time in Corfu Town to catch most of what goes on or alternatively somewhere quite near to town.
As it happens my better half may problems with leave so we may have to leave Easter until next year and just have a sneaky week this May.
Thanks for your help anyway and I hope you have a good time when you're next there.
Peter.

Not long now.

Marion packed her case last night and I will do mine in the next couple of hours.

Then it is off to Edinburgh for the night before we get the Athens flight in the morning.

Looking forward to our first Greek Easter in Paleo

Never felt soooo cold.
It was nice on Monday and Tuesday.
Sitting on my balcony with a blanket wrapped around me.

Serve you both for not staying in A.G.  Spiros would have put on the patio heaters just for you. LOL!!!
Enjoy your holiday in Paleo. It must have been a torturous  journey via Athens to freeze your socks off in Paleo.

Yes I agree Tom, its Freezing.

Ian is trying to light the fire but the wood is wet from last nights rain. What a change from shorts and teeshirts yesterday. Never mind forecast looks better for the weekend.

It was very nice yesterday. I got my forehead burnt because I did not put sun cream on. Then somebody did not put a euro into the meter and it became colder than god's country (Scotland). Thank god we have central heating in our apartment. Better than Spiros blow torch.

Still having a great time.

Hope Marion has a lovely birthday tomorrow. x

Hi Gill,

Trust you and Keith had a nice Easter. Marion and I have had a fab time and she had a great birthday yesterday.
We went for a meal at Spiro'sTaverna, and some how they found out it was her birthday. Big surprise for her and me, they came out with a cake and happy birthday playing. Think that is why Corfu is sooooo special. You should have seen her face and mine.
We were also at Boulis the night before with very dear friends of ours and watched the midnight service. Very moving.

Home tomorrow, but back it seven weeks time.

Kind Regards
Tom and Marion.
ps. Give our best to Keith
