Which apartments did you chose? Sure lots of people will be able to offer you some tips in terms of tavernas etc.

Wishing you a fabulous wedding, time in Corfu and a very happy marriage x.

Hi everyone,
Thanks again for all your help and advice. We have booked Apartments in Kassiopi which look lovely. They have an exceptional deal on of 25% for May so we made the most of it and booked the Honeymoon suite. I am so excited now, I can barely contain myself! Smile

If you have booked Thomas it is lovely with tables on the beach and also has vines covering the restaurant, the meals are lovely and freshly made and the views are great.

Is you reception at Thomas' Place? If so just remembered the Pink house http://www.pinkhouse.gr/ which is immediately next door on the beach. It is typically Greek and nothing fancy but may just work for you.

Hi,
I have looked at accommodation in Kassiopi, Nissaki, Agios Stephanos and Barbati but no luck as either way off our budget or not available. Chris is a teacher so we could only get married in school holidays which is a pain but cant be helped. We have booked the wedding through Ionian weddings and the reception at Kalami was one of the venues that they offer. They have them dotted around Corfu but is the one we preferred as it is a taverna on the beach. I do know some resorts in Corfu, just not Kalami. In hindsight we should have started looking before but didnt expect the May half term to be this busy! Will have a look at Agni and Kouloura and look at Trip advisor too. Thanks everyone for your help. Lisa

We went to a wedding in Italy a few years ago.  The guests were all staying at the top of the lake and we got taxis to the church, then the bride and groom hired a boat to take us from the church to the wedding reception on the other side of the lake.  This was lovely as we were all together and enjoyed champagne on-board.  This could be an option for you, which could reduce the price of accommodation by staying in another resort.  Kalami can be quite expensive for villas and the tavernas.

What a shame Lisa. The problem may be that your 2nd week is UK half term and most places are already booked Unhappy
I am curious, Kalami is a fabulous place for your wedding but intrigued as to why you chose it if you are not familiar with the areaConfused
Suggest you try ownersdirect and enter local locations in the advanced search, ie. Kalami, Agni, Nissaki, Kouloura, Ag. Stephanos (NE only) or Kassiopi.
Good luck.

Thanks everyone, glad it is not me going mad!
I have checked out all the suggestions and most don't have availability or are not quite what we need. Thankyou so much for suggestions though. I have emailed Tony and Julia as suggested, so will wait to hear. Villa Cicadas has no availability now, I guess everyone is starting to think about holidays. Please do let me know if anyone else can think of something to help.Lisa
