Hi folks, few questions. Firstly as anyone done this trip from Kassiopi. How long does it take. How long do you get on Paxos and would you recommend it. We're going in May, would this trip be on then. Reading posts from people who holiday there, it looks beautiful. Appreciate any advice. lol xxx

All I've seen is day trips that either go to Paxos and then Parga on the mainland, or got to Paxos then cruise around Antipaxos, usually stopping in a bay for swimming.  Those are tourist charters sailing from the main port of Corfu town, wth coach transfers from most resorts. They might run in May but would be prone to cancellations from lack of numbers. When there are a lot of people in the Summer they tend to run two smaller cruisers. When numbers are down they put everyone on a big cruiser which then doesn't stop in the smaller bays of Antipaxos.

There is a hydrofoil ferry service to Paxos, but with limited sailings you'd have to time it carefully to get there and back in a day.  Even towards the end of May it looks like there are only a few days on which you could pull it off.

Sorry if this doesn't help, but I haven't heard of a specifically organised day-trip to just Paxos, nor any such service sailing directly from Kassiopi.  Sailings from there tend to be local charters just around the north-east tip of Corfu.  But my capacity to be wrong about such things often surprises even myself... LOL

Thanks, might have to have a rethink on this. I'm sure there will be other trips to try. Keep saying will do a boat trip. Last one I went on was 1998 with Christos, what a character, what a day, Kouloura, Kalami, Agni bay for lunch. Swimming in sea, as much Ouzo as you could drink. Lots of laughter and his famous looky looky at any couples on the shore!! lol xxx

Can I recommend Corfu town by night from Kassiopi?

It's fantastic to see the lights of the town, forts etc from the sea and a really lovely journey there and back.
Enjoy!

We have just done the Moonlight Cruise to Corfu Town. We set off from Imerolia at about 1630hours, arrived at the yacht club mooring by the old fort about an hour later, easy walk up to the Liston and beyond, plenty of time for a meal after a stroll, returned to the boat at 2100hours for our cruise back to Imerolia with the full moon following behind us, lovely.
Our cruise was organised by Castaway Travel on the Captain Harris boat, who also do BBQ and daytime cruises from Imerolia.

Since it's low season, you may well be able to arrange an overnight stay or two on Paxos, and use the hydrofoil to get there and back.
