Hi all,
Went to Paleokastritsa in June and loved it. In taxi from Manchester on way home taxi driver said he loved AG. So here are my questions...how do the two compare and how far apart are they. I am thinking maybe five days in each?!?! Its over to you peeps in the know. Many thanks Jance |

We went to A.G for 15 years before we bought our house in Lakones above Paleo - we love them both so a two centered holiday sounds good. Both wonderful in different ways and only 30 minutes apart.

Hi Jance,
Which Agios Georgios/Agios Gordios are you referring to as you have posted in both forums. They are two very different places. Agios Georgios is on the NW coast and Agios Gordios is on the west coast but much further south. To further confuse the issue there is also Agios Georgios South (St. George South).

That's why I did not answer earlier as I was not sure which Agios Georgios it was but then I saw the post in the Agios Gordios forum. It is very confusing if you do not know Corfu well. But all beautiful

Hi Jance,
Have deleted your post from the Agios Georgios forum to avoid confusion. x However in your post above you said that it was the NW coast just up from Paleo which is Agios Georgios NW. Stephens on the hill is in Agios Gordios. Now I am totally confused. xxx

AG is very beautiful, nice and compact and not as busy as Paleo. Both places are stunning. When you come to AG try and stay somewhere up the hill a bit so you can make the most of the view. Stevens/Dina's Paradise etc (if you can manage a hill). There are lovely beach front tavernas and restaurants at AG where you can watch the amazing sunsets. We visit Paleo from AG as we love both places too, the is also a bus service now. These two places would make a great holiday!
